The Skill Up Initiative is a corporate social initiative of Sea Bonito(SB) that empowers and supports youth with the skill and also partners with other event professionals to train in other fields, so they can be self-employed, independent and also contribute to the economy of our nation. We have supported up to 50 youth through skill empowerment and business start up donations in event decoration FREE of charge as well as free consultation and mentoring as they start their own business.
The world’s economy has been hardly hit by the pandemic. In view of this, the Skill Up Initiative has come up with another initiative, START NOW SKILL UP.

Our Mission
The mission of the START NOW SKILL UP is to empower the youth and small businesses to be self-sufficient and entrepreneurial in order to drive economic growth in Nigeria. The objective of this project is to provide relevant SOFT and DIGITAL skills Online to help small businesses put proper structure in their business and position themselves for growth.
We would be hosting you in knowledge sharing sessions starting next week Saturday, August 15th 2020. It would run for 6 weeks after which we would have some days of intensive skill acquisition training. It's going to be very educational and you would get clarity on how to start and run your small business. Register below for our FREE comprehensive training scheduled to hold for 6 weeks every Saturday from August, 15th through September,19th. There would be 2 sessions every week at 4pm and 6pm. Training is FREE but registration is required.

The Hope Alive Project
Our Mision
SKILLUP INITIATIVE has come up with the HOPE ALIVE PROJECT aimed at supporting owners of micro SMEs and artisans/workmen, who are unable to meet the basic need of feeding themselves and their families, during the Covid19 Pandemic. Our Focus is on the Event Industry as we are aware that this Industry has been hard hit by the pandemic as a result of the ban on social gatherings/events. This group of people includes florists, drapers, stage designers, catering assistants, sprayers, cleaners, ushers, makeup artistes, photographers, etc This Initiative, we plan to achieve by soliciting the support of well meaning Individuals and organizations, both within and out of the Event Industry. We have created a form to be filled by beneficiaries and screening will be carefully done by our team to ensure that the palliative is enjoyed by those for whom it is intended. However, we would be partnering with professionals in the event industry to help locate those who do not have access to the internet. .
